Kansas City Chiefs Acknowledge Domestic Violence Allegations Involving Wide Receiver the Athlete

The Kansas City Chiefs released a comment on Wednesday evening indicating they have knowledge of claims of abuse made public in online accounts by a ex-partner of wide receiver the athlete and were in contact with the league office.

The organization omitted the name of the player specifically in their statement and said they would have “nothing more to add at this time”.

The woman, who likewise did not name Rice directly, shared a series of photos on Instagram that seemed to depict signs of physical abuse.
